Blisters On His Fingers?

Pink Floyd - A Fleeting Glimpse Posted on 01/03/2016 by Col T18/12/2018

Acclaimed Floyd historian and author Glenn Povey has been busy. On the same day (3 March) as his highly acclaimed ‘Echoes: The Complete History of Pink Floyd’ was published (see full details in story below) Glenn has brought out another book! This one is called ‘Pink Floyd – Giants Of Rock’. (Which is an update of Glenn’s ‘Treasures of Pink Floyd’ published in 2012). This latest book tells the story of one of the most important bands in the history of popular music with words, pictures and the reproduction of memorabilia. The book recounts every decade of the band’s existence and every album they recorded. It contains profiles of all five members and discusses the significant influence they had on music and culture across the world. This book is an essential purchase for every fan that wants to immerse themselves in the amazing, surreal and fascinating world of Pink Floyd. You can order the book from Amazon UK | USA | CANADA Here’s some more good news! We have a copy of the book to give away to some lucky person. We will make this one easy for you. Drop an email to col@pinkfloydz.com with the subject heading Treasure. Usual stuff, one entry per person, include your mailing address and answer this question. In what year was A Fleeting Glimpse founded? (Head upstairs if you don’t know the answer). Comp closes 25 March. Good Luck! AND THE WINNER IS: Marty Burch Bulverde, TX
