Original 1966/67 Silkscreen Pink Floyd Poster up for Auction

Pink Floyd - A Fleeting Glimpse Posted on 17/08/2026 by Tony R17/08/2026

Ewbank’s Auctions, the premier international antiques and fine art valuers and auctioneers based in Surrey, South East England, have announced several interesting Pink Floyd items up for grabs as part of their Music Memorabilia auction, which is taking place on August 26. While there are several signed LPs, CDs, and various items of the like, there is one particular piece of memorabilia that caught our attention and that we wanted you to know about:

LOT 2014: This item is a VERY rare original silkscreen Pink Floyd poster from 1966/67. These were made to be sold and/or displayed at those early Pink Floyd shows from the era. From IBIS Designs, it measures 29.7 x 19.9 inches and is an original artwork by Wendy Gair, who was Floyd’s co-manager Andrew King’s girlfriend at the time and designed some of the very earliest posters for the band. This is the second variant of this style of poster.

The starting bid is £1,000, and is estimated to fetch anywhere between £2,000 and £4,000, and possibly more, due to the fact that original pieces of memorabilia from the Syd Barrett era of the band are hard to come by. Click to view the listing page for LOT 2014.

As we mentioned above, this is set to go under the hammer on August 26 at 10am UK time. You will need to sign in to your “My Account” and or register for an account to bid in the live and timed sales. Best of luck! Do let us know if you win by dropping an email to tony@pinkfloydz.com.

Click here to view all of the Pink Floyd and related lots that may be of interest in the auction. This does include more original posters, 7″ singles, backstage passes, and the odd bootleg or two on vinyl.

Pink Floyd — The Dark Side of the Moon | Wish You Were Here 360° Spatial Audio Listening Sessions

Pink Floyd - A Fleeting Glimpse Posted on 16/08/2026 by Tony R16/08/2026

The Polygon Portal, an intimate listening room in Soho, London dedicated to 360° spatial audio, has announced several listening sessions for landmark albums from October through December. Two of which are Pink Floyd albums, The Dark Side of the Moon and Wish You Were Here. Using one of the world’s best spatial audio sound systems, speakers are placed in every direction all around the room. So music doesn’t just arrive from one direction, from a stage, but moves through the space. Drums overhead, a melody drifting in from behind, vocals soaring straight through the room. These are moments for listening without distraction, in a space built to bring people closer to the music, the artist, and themselves. The Portal has a bar and social space too, so there’s no reason to rush back to the outside world.

The current schedule is as follows (click book now to secure your tickets, as they are VERY limited.)

The Dark Side of the Moon – OCT: 3, 4, 10, 17, 18, 22 & 25 – BOOK NOW
Wish You Were Here 50 – OCT: 1, 3, 17 & 24 – BOOK NOW

FYI: You need to sign up as a Polygon Insider to access and book sessions at the Portal. Membership is free and also gives you access to early booking opportunities and the Portal’s social space and bar.
