Digital artist and designer NABIL AK has been in touch to let us know about a virtual Pink Floyd-inspired listening room he has created, designed in a pixel-art style. Many thanks to Nabil for sharing his creation with us.

In Nabil’s words:

“It’s a pixel-art room where you pick one of seven albums and the room changes with it: oil projections on the walls for Piper, an underwater room for Meddle, the moon slipping to its dark side during Time, golden hour for Wish You Were Here, Battersea and the pig breaking free for Animals, the wall cracking and falling for The Wall, and a shadow theatre for The Division Bell. Each album comes with a short true story, and you can raise a lighter that everyone in the room sees in real time.

The music plays through the official YouTube player inside the room’s TV, so nothing is hosted. It’s unofficial and non-commercial: no ads, no sign-up.”
