LogoEstablished June 1998. Pink Floyd and Roger Waters news from the worlds most respected Pink Floyd/Roger Waters site. Features the latest OFFICIAL news, pictures, reviews, interviews, lyrics, forum, links, and so much more. Now in its 18th big year, Pink Floyd A Fleeting Glimpse continues to attract new audiences. The site is widely acknowledged as a great source for Floyd news and has picked up a massive cult following over the years. (We passed the 50 Million visitor mark way back in Nov 2012!) A Fleeting Glimpse (Or AFG as its become known) is used by a cross section of the Floyd/Waters online community, including new fans & crusty old fossils, who spend all their life researching Pink Floyd. I fit into the latter category by the way, having been a Floyd fan since 1966. My name is Col Turner, and I run this site on behalf of fans all over the planet. Without your contributions the site could not exist. If you have anything Floyd related that you think may be of interest, drop us a line (  Don't forget, in the best Pink Floyd tradition, there are several hidden links on this site, can you find them? Col Turner ~ Gold Coast, Australia

No Spoilers Here! We will not be publishing David Gilmour Tour 'Spoilers' on this page, so if you want to keep up with what's going on, you need to visit our TOUR SECTION and take the appropriate link/s.
New Site Update
Well the new site nears completion with most of the pages now coded up and ready to go. Still some content to be added and a LOT of technical guff to overcome but at current rate we hope to have the new site up and running in June (May if all goes well). We've kept a lot of content from this current site (and in fact are bringing back old favourite's such as 'Pink Floyd Millionaire') and added a lot of new material. This process has now taken almost a year, with most weeks around 40 - 60 hours work done! If you feel you want to make a small contribution towards these efforts, please click the donate button above. Thanks!
Remember This? We are advised that it's not the Coachella Festival Roger will be appearing at, instead it's a concert at Coachella around 4th or 5th October. (Filed March 12) NOW SEE THIS As you can see we first got a whiff of the Mega Concert in October at Coachella way back on March 12th. We we are reliably informed that we were the first site in the world (in any shape or form) to feature the news. This is going to be Massive and will feature Bob Dylan, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, The Who, Neil Young and of course Roger Waters. Shows you the benefit of having reliable sources, so we can bring you these rumours with confidence.

David Gilmour Mini Concert On Jimmy Kimmel Show David will be appearing on the Jimmy Kimmel show on Mar 28th (Hollywood Boulevard LA). At the time of writing there were still FREE TICKETS to the concert. We are advised that the concerts take place at a very small outdoor lot behind studio - maybe up to 500 people. It's understood that these Mini Concerts are recorded for broadcast at a later date (sometimes up to a month later). If we find out the broadcast date we will be sure to let you know. UPDATE Songs played at Mini Concert were 'In Any Tongue', High Hopes', 'Today', 'Rattle That Lock' & 'Wish You Were Here'. The only song that went to air was 'Rattle That Lock'. Here's a whole bunch of brilliant photos and a couple of private videos. Official Videos - You can now view 'Rattle That Lock' & 'Wish You Were Here'. In Any Tongue and High Hopes will be broadcast in June
David Gilmour To Perform At Pompeii - Official Mark this one in your diary. David Gilmour will be performing two shows at Pompeii on Thursday 7th and Friday 8th July 2016. Rolling Stone had originally reported that David will probably play at the site's Roman Amphitheatre, rather than the Large Theatre where the documentary "Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii" was made. However, it's since been clarified that David will be performing at Pompeii’s Roman Amphitheatre, scene of the original Pink Floyd: Live at Pompeii. (Confused? Rolling Stone completely messed up that story because the Roman Amphitheatre was in fact where Pink Floyd performed). David will have an audience this time, the stone Amphitheatre can hold about 2,000 It's understood that the concert/s will be filmed in high definition and then screened in theaters for three days before going to DVD. Tickets go on sale on Tuesday 22nd March at 1pm CET – from are priced at €300 each plus a 15% booking fee.You will be limited to two tickets per person for one show only (not both). (First filed Thursday 17 March)

We are also told that he will perform at the Coachella Festival but are waiting on more info about this, so stay tuned! UPDATE We are advised that it's not the Coachella Festival Roger will be appearing at, instead it's a concert at Coachella around 4th or 5th October. (Filed March 12)
4 hour Retrospective on the Essener Pop & Blues Festivals 69 & 70 German TV show Rockpalast will broadcast a 4 hour retrospective on the1969 & 1970 Essener Pop & Blues Festivals . The broadcast is touted to include excerpts from both shows, contemporary TV reports, and concert specials. Of interest to Pink Floyd fans is that Pink Floyd performed at the 1969 Festival. The promoter of the 1969 event (Konrad Mallison) has been in touch and tells us:

TV station WDR Köln/Cologne, covered the first two festivals in Oct. 1969 (that time still 16 mm black/white) and April 1970 (mats colour).

Now 46 years later they will open their archives and broadcast 4 hours of titles that had not been broadcast before. I hope there will be more from the Pink Floyd 60 minutes appearance.

The program airs on March 28 at 00.45 - 04.45 (German Time, our abacus is busted, please work out your own local time:-) and you can WATCH LIVE UPDATE: What a disappointment! The only Floyd footage shown has been on the internet for years! Just 2 songs in Black & White. Seems this 'event' was over hyped.
A Conversation With Matt Gilmour AFG Correspondent Julie Skaggs has done it again. For some years now we have been featuring Julie's reviews and special features on this site. Now Julie brings us another cracker and this time it's a conversation with Matt Gilmour. Matt talks about his new album, the formation of his band 'Patient Wolf' and about his famous father. There's also a Bonus Interview with Danny Johnson, Producer/Engineer of The Grey (Matt's new album) A really nice pair.

It’s very unlikely that I will start touring anywhere this year. These things take a long time. It took me about 10 months to put together The Wall tour. I still have to finish making the record.
