This past week, Roger Waters’ latest live album, This Is Not A Drill: Live From Prague, reached No. 1 on the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart!

The album has been pleasing fans ever since its release on August 1. It’s being highly praised for its pristine sound mix, and the accompanying Blu-ray is absolutely gorgeous as well. Shot in glorious 8K and mastered in 4K with absolutely stunning colors and features a brand-new edit compiled from both nights at the O2 Arena in Prague in May 2023, during Roger’s This Is Not A Drill world tour of 2022/2023.

The film comes packed with a brand-new Dolby Atmos mix, along with 5.1 TrueHD and stereo mixes. The Atmos mix, in particular, is quite mesmerizing! The sound is incredibly spacious, and the channelization of the instruments is strategically placed. It’s an extremely fun listen. This is probably Roger’s BEST-sounding live release since 2000’s In The Flesh CD/DVD.
