Released online today from an archive on Flickr known as 35mm Rock Archive are two sets of professionally scanned photographs. The first features Pink Floyd performing live in March 1973 at the Chicago Amphitheater, while the second captures the Floyd performing at Kemper Arena in Kansas City in June 1977. Both sets are equally well photographed and capture the band during their golden era. Between 1973 and 1977, Pink Floyd’s live show evolved dramatically, growing from an already ambitious production into one of the most visually and musically immersive concert experiences of their creative peak, that is, until The Wall in 1980. The photos perfectly showcase what it was like to attend a Pink Floyd show during this remarkable period!
