Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets are an English psychedelic rock band formed in 2018 by drummer Nick Mason and guitarist Lee Harris to perform the early music of Mason’s band Pink Floyd. The band also includes Gary Kemp of Spandau Ballet on guitars and vocals and longtime Pink Floyd collaborator Guy Pratt on bass and vocals with producer Dom Beken on Keyboards.
Mason said the group were not a tribute band, but wanted to “capture the spirit” of the era; he stressed that Kemp was not a replacement for original Pink Floyd frontman Syd Barrett, who left the band in 1968.
The band made their debut in May 2018 at Dingwalls, a 500 capacity club in London followed by three shows at the Half Moon, Putney before embarking on a European tour in September 2018, a North American tour and European tour followed in 2019. In May 2019 the band played two shows at the Roundhouse in London, which was filmed and recorded.
In 2020 the band released their live album and DVD/Bluray Live at the Roundhouse. A single featuring “See Emily Play” and “Vegetable Man” was released for Record Store Day in April of the same year.
On 18 April 2019, Roger Waters surprised the audience at the New York Beacon Theatre by joining the band to sing “Set The Controls For The Heart Of The Sun“. The band were due to begin a European tour in April 2020, but this was postponed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2022’s The Echoes Tour which featured Floyd’s epic 23 minute track of the same name played in full, saw dates in Europe and North America that year. The Echoes Tour continued in the summer of 2023 with another leg in Europe including a show in Pompeii and a run of shows in Australia in September 2023.

Jan. 20th – Herzberg Festival Date Added!
Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets have expanded their summer 2024 tour with a festival date in Germany at the Herzberg Festival. It is a large festival that has been running since 1968. This year the festival will run from July 25-July 28.
