Lee Harris’s Album Sessions Presents Pink Floyd’s Meddle Live
PINK FLOYD’S MEDDLE LIVE
Thursday 11 & Friday 12 March 2027
The Half Moon, Putney
Lee Harris, best known for his work with Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, is launching a new live series celebrating classic albums performed in their entirety in the intimate surroundings of The Half Moon, Putney. Each event will bring together a specially selected group of musicians to perform an iconic album in full alongside music by the same artist.
The first edition will see Lee Harris, Dom Beken, Yaron Stavi & Ged Lynch unite to perform Pink Floyd’s Meddle in full, alongside rarely performed music from the same era of the Floyd catalogue.
This marks the live debut of this new four-piece line-up, bringing together musicians with direct connections to the world of Pink Floyd.
Lee Harris – Guitar & Vocals
Dom Beken – Keyboards & Vocals
Ged Lynch – Drums & Percussion
Yaron Stavi – Bass
Lee Harris and Dom Beken are members of Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, which was conceived by Harris to revisit and perform Pink Floyd’s early music. The band has played more than 200 shows worldwide, bringing this rarely performed era of the Pink Floyd catalogue to audiences across the globe. The Half Moon has a special connection to Harris and Beken, who performed there during the band’s launch, making these shows a rare opportunity to experience this music up close in the venue where it began.
Yaron Stavi has performed and recorded with David Gilmour, including on Rattle That Lock. He has also worked extensively with Phil Manzanera of Roxy Music, Robert Wyatt and Nigel Kennedy.
“Nick wisely said that what we do in the Saucers is not recreating but reinterpreting,” says Lee Harris. “That’s exactly the ethos we’ll bring to these shows. We’ll honour the iconic moments that all of us love whilst allowing the music to evolve live, just as Pink Floyd did on stage.”
