Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets – Echoes (Live) Digital Release Including Dolby Atmos
Announced today: the digital release of Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets live recording of Echoes, originally released as an exclusive for Record Store Day (read our review here). For those who don’t do vinyl or missed out on grabbing a copy, digital versions—including a Dolby Atmos mix by Steven Wilson—will be available starting May 22nd on all major streaming services.
David Gilmour Circus Maximus Footage Surfaces Online in Behind the Scenes Video
Here’s something interesting for those waiting for news on David Gilmour’s next live film/album. As we know, he filmed a few of his shows in Rome this past September during his Luck and Strange tour, and it just so happens that a behind-the-scenes video from director James Tonkin (who also directed Nick Mason’s Saucerful Of Secrets: Live at the Roundhouse) surfaced online just a few days ago. It features some of those concert shots, along with high-quality footage of the tour rehearsals and camera setup in Rome. Unfortunately, there’s no music included, as the focus is primarily on the camera equipment used for filming these shows.
Could this mean an announcement is just around the corner? You can bet we’ll be the first to break the news once it happens. In the meantime, have a look at the snippets of footage in this showreel.

As many of you know, Andy is credited with playing drums on “Two Suns In The Sunset” from Pink Floyd’s The Final Cut album, as well as on Roger Waters’ The Pros and Cons of Hitch Hiking album and tour. He also played on two of David Gilmour’s solo albums: On An Island and Rattle That Lock.
Andy speaks with Gary and Guy about his time as a member of Sly and the Family Stone, as well as his work with John Lennon, Carly Simon, David Bowie, and more. Andy is quite the storyteller—this is one episode you won’t want to miss!

Joined by Phil Salathé, they dive into Lee’s early years, his career as co-manager and guitarist for Ian Dury and the Blockheads, and the musical evolution of Pink Floyd between 1967 and 1972—an era covered by the Saucers.

Upcoming Pink Floyd ‘Pompeii’ Sound System Exhibitions
You may recall that back in March, we announced a special screening of Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII, held at the end of April at a cinema in Barnsley, UK. The screening featured the band’s original WEM PA system, which provided additional audio alongside the in-house cinema speakers, and it was a smashing success. Now, the owners—CH Vintage Audio—have informed us that they will be presenting additional exhibitions this coming June.

The first will take place at Nick Mason’s Middlewick House Open Garden charity event on June 7–8, which Nick and his wife, Annette, host annually to raise money for two local charities. According to Chris Hewitt, owner of CH Vintage Audio, the re-created Pompeii mixing desk, a vintage Ford Transit, and some of the original equipment will be on display at this year’s garden event in Corsham. Secondly, the entire PA system will be showcased at this year’s North West Audio Show in Cheshire, taking place June 21–22. The WEM system will be set up outdoors and will feature playback of the newly remixed Pink Floyd at Pompeii – MCMLXXII soundtrack by Steven Wilson! Speaking of which—now that the film and album are officially released, listeners have been giving it extraordinary reviews, with fan feedback overwhelmingly positive.
