Posted today, the highly anticipated interview featuring renowned YouTube personality, producer, music educator, and multi-instrumentalist Rick Beato as he sits down with David Gilmour. On his YouTube channel, Beato is known for conducting interviews with an array of notable musicians spanning various genres of music. Nearly two months ago, Rick shared a video explaining the challenges of securing an interview with an artist of David’s caliber, and deeming it highly unlikely. However, it appears that David has taken notice, and agreed to meet with Rick while recently on tour in New York City, performing five sold out shows at Madison Square Garden as part of his Luck and Strange tour. The interview took place the day after the final performance, on November 10th.

David also dives into his creative process, legendary guitar tone, and the evolution of his sound and singing from Pink Floyd to the present day.
