The 'Orphans' section is set aside for 'one off' and/or rare items. It's a rapidly expanding section of the site and many great finds can be discovered here. The latest (published) material is always on the last Orphans page. If you have any unusual Pink Floyd material you would like displayed, please contact us at col@pinkfloydz.com

Orphans Part 3

(Above) A list of 'happenings' on
May 2 1969 at the Manchester College Of Commerce. What makes this so interesting
is it was the night of the Manchester
live recording of Ummagumma. Thanks go to Mark Doyle for preserving this
treasure of Floyd history.

(Above) Another
contribution from long time fan Mark Doyle. The Azimuth Co-ordinator (PA
system)was used this night.

(Above) This picture (of my wife & son)
was in the Mount Easterly Newspaper 1 June 1982

From Brazil comes this clipping from
January 2002. It details Roger's 2002 Tour in Brazil and a story about Dave
Gilmour giving away a fortune to charity. The top photo is promoting 'Echoes'.
~ Thanks to Jefferson Lobato Noraes (Fersion).

(Above) This series of 4 pictures were taken in October 1991 by Roberto Mancilla in his home city of Tuxtla Gutierrez (Mexico).
The pictures are of David Gilmour & Nick Mason's cars. Roberto states that Steve O'Rourke and Val Lindsay, (Mason´s co-pilot) Can be seen in the pictures.
It was that year that David Gilmour & the late Steve O'Rourke (Floyd's then Manager) were involved in a serious crash that resulted in both of Steve's legs being broken.
