Everything on this day was perfect, except
for a few mistakes by the band, but everyone has a
bad hair day every now and then...
The weather was nice, the Brauhaus was a nice
place to arrange for a meeting with the following
great Roger-fans: Simon, Jens, Emil, Rainer,
Philippe, Jan and Nelly. Was good fun, people!
The Arena was great and we had good seats
opposite the stage. The sound was totally amazing,
and far better than in Antwerp and Rotterdam.
Welcome To The Machine remains my favourite
performance on this tour. I don't know what
happened at the beginning of Breathe, but for a bar
or two there were only guitars, synths and bass.
Ah, well...the rest of the show totatlly made up
for that, with once again a BRILLIANT performance
of Money. The Amused to Death-songs keep on
improving. The audience was great, I thought.
Silent when the band was playing, and going mad
when applausing
No more lip-syncing for Roger on Every Strangers
Eyes and he sounded great! The sound of Roger's
voice along with the backing vocals is WONDERFUL to
hear, and it was LOUD! Also, Comfortably Numb was
very loud but absolutely stunning! Wonderful guitar
solo's!
A wonderful day, a good gig despite the few
mistakes, a night to remember!
Cheers, Dan
